Salon Policies

Each client’s appointment is very important to us. We take great care to ensure scheduling is handled efficiently so that our clients receive the level of service and professionalism that they deserve when they book with us.

Deposits

However, due to bad experiences of last minute cancellation and missed appointments (no-shows), our new booking policy requires a minimum deposit of RM50 per guest to secure your slot.

Some appointments require extra time and preparation to accommodate. Appointments that are very time-intensive and/or require materials to be specially purchased for the service (such as nail extensions, lash services, nail parties etc.) may require a higher deposit upon booking. The deposit amount will be used to offset your total bill.

Cancellation

Here at POSH, we understand that sometimes situations come up that require you to change your plans. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will do everything we can to accommodate but please do contact us at your earliest convenience. We require that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance to help us protect the time of our team and our clients, and ensure that we can continue to deliver upon our promise of exceptional service.

Cancellations and rescheduled appointments without 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit paid. No-shows will be charged 100% of the deposit paid. This fee is non-refundable and can not be put toward any future services.

Appointments booked within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be canceled or rescheduled no later than 4 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time without incurring a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit paid.

For large group bookings (such as bridal parties, birthdays / prom groups, etc.), extra time and preparation is needed to make sure we have the space and amenities needed to make your time with us one you’ll always remember fondly. We require that you notify us at least 72 hours in advance of any cancellations or changes you need to make to your scheduled appointment. Cancellations and rescheduled appointments without 72 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price per guest.

We value your time and feel that it is fair to honor the same policies we hold to our clients. Should we need to cancel on a client due to power and water outages, or other unforeseen events with less than 24 hours notice we will honor 50% off your next visit for the same scheduled services and do all we can to reschedule your appointment in a timely manner.
On top of that, POSH members are given one (1) grace appointment a year for last minute scheduling changes, cancellations, or no-shows. Please inquire at our outlets on how to sign up as a member!

Tardiness Policy

We understand that you have a busy schedule, and allow a grace period of 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.

We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. We will always try our best to accommodate, however, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our teams’ day by delaying them for their clients who come in on time.

For this reason, we have set a few general ground rules for such situations and we appreciate your understanding.

 

  • Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of your appointment time for a stress-free check-in. Services will begin and end on time as courtesy to the next client.
  • All scheduled appointments have a 10 minute grace period to allow for bad traffic or parking difficulties.
  • One late client can throw off our entire schedule and cause our other clients to be late for their commitments. Therefore, if you arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we may need to reschedule your appointment to accommodate your service(s) or we may have to shorten your service at full price charges as a courtesy to other waiting clients.
  • If we do not hear from you within 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment start time, your appointment will be considered a no-show and you will be charged 50% of the service total.
Reservation Policy

As a courtesy, we will send out confirmation text a day prior to your appointment date and we require you to respond with a “YES” to confirm your service appointments. However, if we are unable to reach you, or do not receive any response, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals and missed appointments.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

Prices Policy

We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and service menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change from time to time with due notice. Kindly check with our team for our promotional/ seasonal prices.

Payment Policy
  • We accept cash in Malaysian currency, Visa, Master Card, and bank debit cards, as well as e-wallets, cashless payments and bank transfers for all sales of services and products.
  • We also accept POSH gift cards. However, gift cards are not exchangeable for cash and not redeemable if the original card is not presented.
Refund Policy
  • All service, memberships, packages, gift card and retail product sales are final and there will be no refund.
  • Retail products can only be exchanged if unused in its original packaging, and presented with original receipt within 7 days of purchase.
  • Retails products can be exchanged to service credit and must be used in the next 14 days of the exchange date.
Special Conditions Policy
  • Please notify our team before reserving your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, or are pregnant.
Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
  • We do believe that every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with your nail technician/ therapist will remain confidential, as will your treatment records.
  • Client lists and email lists are also confidential and we do not share our client lists with outside companies.
Other Friendly Tips for your Visit
  • Please do not bring valuables with you. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Please respect the right to a relaxing and quiet atmosphere for all clients. We ask that you refrain from talking loudly and that you turn off/ silent your mobile phones during your service/ treatment time. We appreciate it and so will your fellow clients.
AGREEMENT

By booking an appointment with POSH, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our booking, cancellation, and deposit policy and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated above.

 

The POSH Salon Policies allow us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members’ schedule filled, thus better serving everyone. We very much appreciate your business and compliance.
